To look after the development and maintenance of the tourist spot, the sanaghagara development committee was formed at the local level in 1996 under the chairmanship of the Sub-Collector, Kendujhar including officials and local citizens. Collector, Keonjhar is the Advisor of the committee. The committee has been working since then to extend facilities for welfare and development of Sanaghagra. Funds generated from collecting nominal entry fees, parking fees are utilized for maintenance and development of this tourist spot. Gradually the committee has become a model example in the state for development and maintenance of tourist spot by local initiative.
